The MediaSouth.in in association with Cinetaria - Cinema UnLimiteD is organizing two day "Start your Career as Advertisement Film-maker” from October 14, 2017 at FTAPCCI, Red Hills, Hyderabad.
Ad film making is a specialized form of film-making that uses the basic grammar of film-making. It goes without saying that an in depth knowledge of the craft of film-making is required to realise instant recall and branding. To be a successful ad film maker, a creative bent of mind, good knowledge of the working of the human mind and passion for a craft, in which the use of colours, textures, sound and graphics are used to create indelible images, is a must.
A strong grounding in basic film making as well as intense practical exercises, assignments, case studies and workshops, specific craft skills of ad film making should feature in any learning that an aspirant may opt to undergo.
During the course of training at workshop, the aspirants are encouraged to hone their skills in screenplay writing, continuity, elements of visual design, principles of visual composition, color theory, graphics, typography, production design, production planning, budgeting, scheduling off and online post production. Media planning, consumer behavior or psychology, role of advertisements in modern day marketing and use of ad films in cross media platforms should also find space in the curriculum.
Noted Advertisement filmmakers, film writers, copy writers, editors and cinematographers are the key instructors at the “Creativity Unlimited: Advertisement Filmmaking” workshop.
